How odds formats work

Soccer betting odds Singapore operators use are almost always in decimal format (e.g. 2.10), not fractional. Decimal odds tell you the total payout per SGD 1 staked, including your stake back.

If Arsenal to win is priced at 2.10, then a SGD 100 bet returns SGD 210 in total (SGD 110 profit + SGD 100 stake) if Arsenal wins.

1X2 — home / draw / away

The classic full-time result market. Three outcomes: home win (1), draw (X), or away win (2). Singapore Pools uses this format for its standard soccer markets; Maxim88 offers it across every fixture.

Asian handicap

Asian handicap removes the draw and evens out mismatched games with a goal head-start or deficit. Two main flavours:

Whole-goal handicap (−1, +2) — team with handicap has that many goals added or subtracted
Quarter-goal handicap (−0.25, −0.75) — your stake is split across two lines; possible outcomes include half-win / half-loss

Asian handicap typically offers better odds than 1X2 on heavy favourites because the draw is removed.

Over / under goals

Total goals scored across both teams, above or below a line. Common lines: 1.5, 2.5, 3.5. Example: "Over 2.5 goals" at 1.85 returns if the match ends with 3+ total goals. Under 2.5 wins at 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0, or 0-2.

Parlay / accumulator

Combine 2+ selections into one bet for a multiplied payout. All selections must win. Popular with Singapore punters for weekend EPL card parlays, but every added leg multiplies risk.
